I was born in County Durham but have spent most of my life in Cambridgeshire, a place I proudly call home.

My journey into the funeral profession began in 2012 when I became a Funeral Arranger. Over the years, I've taken on many roles within the funeral world: as a Funeral Service Operative, I've brought loved ones into the care of their chosen Funeral Director, prepared them for chapel visits, borne coffins, driven corteges, and even conducted services.

These experiences gave me a profound understanding of how important care, dignity, and quiet attention to detail are, not just on the day of the funeral, but in every step leading up to it.

In 2020, I felt drawn to a new direction. I trained as a Funeral Celebrant, obtained my diploma, and began offering bespoke, heartfelt ceremonies that truly reflect the life being remembered. I'm proud to be a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants (AOIC) and am fully insured in my work.

Since qualifying, I've had the privilege of working alongside many local Funeral Directors across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, and Norfolk, supporting families with compassion, calm, and warmth.

For me, celebrant work isn't just a role, it's a calling. It's about holding space with kindness, guiding families gently through one of life's most difficult times, and helping them say goodbye in a way that feels honest, loving, and meaningful.
